And honestly, it does more than we expected. You can order ahead, build your drink from 20,000-plus combos, and pick secret menu drinks without explaining them at the window. There’s one catch that trips up almost everyone on their first try, though: you don’t pay in the app. More on that below, plus what happened to the points you already had.

What Is the 7 Brew App?
It’s 7 Brew’s official ordering and rewards app, and the first 7 Brew mobile app the company has ever released. Before August, there was no official way to order ahead.
Nick Chavez, 7 Brew’s chief marketing officer, said they wanted it to feel “as personal and fun as the experience at our stands.” He also said it “unlocks our secret menu for the first time,” which is probably the part regulars care about most.
A few basics before you download: it costs nothing, it works on both iPhone and Android, and ordering ahead only works at participating stands. Your drink isn’t made until you pull up, so it won’t be sitting on a counter melting while you’re stuck at a red light.

How to Download the 7 Brew App on iPhone or Android
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
- Search “7 Brew” and grab the official app. It’s free.
- Sign in with your 7 Brew Rewards account, or make one with your phone number.
- Pick your stand and start browsing.
You can poke around the menu without signing in. To actually place an order, though, you need a Rewards account. Already give your number at the window? Use that same number and your points will be there waiting.
Is the 7 Brew App Available for Android?
Yep, it’s on Google Play. One heads-up: 7 Brew says some Android phones show screens that look cut off or are hard to get around in, and a fix is in the works. If that’s you, jump to the fixes below.
What Can You Do in the App?
Quite a bit more than just ordering. You can order ahead at participating stands and customize everything, from sweetness and milk to flavors and toppings. Secret menu drinks are right there in the menu too (our secret menu guide has the good ones). Tap the heart on any drink to save it, and your recent orders sit at the top of the menu, so getting your usual takes a couple of taps.
It’ll also find stands near you (or check our locations list), and the Rewards tab is where you track and redeem your points.
Ordering Ahead (and the Part That Surprises People)
Once you’re signed in, it’s quick. Pick your stand, build your drink, place the order. When you pull up, tell your Brewista you ordered in the app so they can check you in, and they’ll make it fresh right then.
Here’s the surprise: you can’t pay in the app. Payment happens at the drive-thru when you’re checked in, according to 7 Brew’s own FAQ. Gift cards don’t work as in-app payment either, at least not yet. So bring your card, or a 7 Brew gift card, to the window.
A few rules worth knowing. You can only have one mobile order going at a time. You can order whenever your stand is open, but orders get wiped at the end of the day, so it’s not for scheduling tomorrow’s coffee tonight. Picked the wrong stand or messed up your drink? Just cancel it and order again.

Rewards: Points, Free Drinks and Merch
The app doubles as the 7 Brew rewards app, and the math is easy. Every qualifying small, medium or large drink earns 100 points. Hit 1,000 and you can cash in for a free drink, any size. Or keep stacking points for merch, like the Brew & Chill Mini Fridge or the 7 Originals Letterman Jacket.
One change people miss: your free drink doesn’t kick in automatically at 1,000 points anymore. You have to pick it in the Rewards tab. Never open it, and your points just sit there.
What Happened to Your Old Points?
They moved over on their own. 7 Brew says every point in your Rewards account transfers to the app automatically, and free drinks you’d already saved stay free drinks. Just don’t go a full year without buying anything, because points and free drinks expire after 365 days in a row with no purchase.
What Earns Points?
Small, medium and large drinks get 100 points each. Past that, it gets a little messy. 7 Brew’s rewards page says kids-size drinks and 7 Brew Energy cans stopped earning points on August 12, 2026. Its support FAQ, on the other hand, says Energy cans and qualifying bakery items like muffin tops earn 50 points. Since 7 Brew’s own pages don’t match, check your Rewards tab after you buy. Do You Get a Free Drink for Downloading the 7 Brew App?
Not that we can find. 7 Brew’s app FAQ and rewards page don’t mention any download bonus, so we wouldn’t count on one. There is one freebie you can count on, though: a free birthday drink. 7 Brew says it loads into your account automatically as long as you have a registered Rewards account, and it stays good for one week after your birthday. If the birthday on your account is wrong, 7 Brew says to fix it through the contact form at 7brew.com/support.
There was a launch contest, “Sip Your Way to 100K Points,” from August 20 to 26, 2026, where one member won 100,000 points. That one’s over.
App Not Working? Try These Fixes
- Screens look cut off on Android: 7 Brew suggests tweaking Font Size, Display Size or Screen Zoom (Settings, then Display), switching between navigation buttons and swipe gestures, then closing and reopening the app.
- Can’t place an order: make sure you’re signed in, your stand is open, and you don’t already have an order going.
- Points look off, or an order went wrong: reach out at 7brew.com/support and pick “App” from the Subject dropdown.
- Want to delete your account: same support page, also under “App.”
Do You Actually Need the App?
Nope. You can keep giving your phone number at the window to earn points, then redeem them at 7brew.com/rewards. The app is worth it if you like ordering ahead, want secret menu drinks without the explaining, or get the same thing most mornings.
